Research Fellow in the History of British Nuclear Power in an International Context
Stuart Butler works as a Research Fellow at the Science Museum, London. He specialises in British political history, diplomatic history, and the use of science and technology as a diplomatic tool.
Stuart’s interest in the history of nuclear energy and society stems from his earlier research on British relations with the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom), and the foreign policy dimensions of British nuclear deterrence.
Within HoNESt Stuart will contribute to the historical analysis of the British experience of nuclear energy.
