Summary of short country reports

HoNESt partners have been developing short country reports on the national histories of nuclear energy and societies. These reports will be available on our website in early April.

In the meantime, a publication based on these reports was published. The brochure offers a comparative overview of the diverse national histories of nuclear energy and societies in 20 countries in Europe – North and South, East and West – and overseas.

HoNESt podcast Episode 3

One of the most important ways to examine and understand the history of nuclear energy and society is to focus on key events that have shaped this relationship. Within each country case we can find specific events that had a lasting effect on how nuclear energy is viewed by the public, the government, and other significant actors. In this episode of the Honest Podcast we will learn about some of those events and how they would shape the perception and acceptance of nuclear energy.
